The Chairman of the Mukammal Pakistan Party has emphasized that the decline of nations is often not due to external threats but due to moral decay. Individuals who are morally corrupt, even if they appear powerful or beneficial in the short term, ultimately cause harm. Their danger lies in their character, not in their intentions.
The Chairman illustrated this with a story: A scorpion and a frog needed to cross a river. The scorpion promised, “Carry me across, I will not harm you.” The frog replied, “If you sting me, I will die, and you will die too.” The scorpion reassured him, yet halfway across the river, it stung the frog. Before dying, the frog asked, “Why did you sting me? You will die too.” The scorpion replied, “It wasn’t my intention; it is in my nature.”
The Chairman stated that this story teaches a vital lesson: some people, no matter how seemingly beneficial or strong, can bring harm if their moral foundation is weak. For Pakistan to progress and thrive, it is essential to build leadership and a society rooted in ethics, integrity, and principle.
