Session on Women’s Role in Business Organized by Women Empowerment and Welfare Foundation Quetta

 

Quetta – May 3, 2025: A significant session was held at the Irani Cultural Centre under the auspices of the Women Empowerment and Welfare Foundation Quetta, aimed at promoting the role of women in the business sector in Balochistan.

Mr. Mateen Hashmi, Advisor and renowned social activist of the Foundation, participated in the session and highlighted the challenges and opportunities for women in Balochistan. He stated that women possess immense potential which, if nurtured, can not only lead to their empowerment but also contribute positively to the economic development of the province.

The chief guest of the event was Mrs. Rubina Zehri, Manager of the Women Development Department, who appreciated the Foundation’s efforts and assured full cooperation in future sessions and activities. She emphasized the department’s commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at empowering the women of Balochistan.

During the session, women from various fields shared their business ideas and experiences, providing practical insights and inspiration for other participants.

This session proved to be a milestone in encouraging and uplifting the entrepreneurial spirit among the women of Balochistan.

وومن ایمپاورمنٹ اینڈ ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کوئٹہ کے زیر اہتمام ایران کلچرل سینٹر میں خواتین کے کاروباری کردار پر سیشن کا انعقاد

کوئٹہ: 3 مئی 2025 — وومن ایمپاورمنٹ اینڈ ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کوئٹہ کے زیر اہتمام ایران کلچرل سینٹر میں ایک اہم سیشن کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جس کا مقصد بلوچستان کی خواتین کو کاروباری میدان میں متحرک کرنا اور اُن کے کردار کو اجاگر کرنا تھا۔

اس موقع پر فاؤنڈیشن کے مشیر اور معروف سماجی کارکن محمد متین ہاشمی نے شرکت کی اور اپنے خطاب میں بلوچستان کی خواتین کو درپیش چیلنجز اور مواقع پر روشنی ڈالی۔ اُنہوں نے کہا کہ خواتین میں بے پناہ صلاحیتیں موجود ہیں، جنہیں بروئے کار لاتے ہوئے وہ نہ صرف خودمختار بن سکتی ہیں بلکہ صوبے کی معاشی ترقی میں بھی مؤثر کردار ادا کر سکتی ہیں۔

تقریب کی مہمانِ خصوصی ویمن ڈویلپمنٹ ڈیپارٹمنٹ کی مینیجر محترمہ روبینہ زہری تھیں، جنہوں نے اپنے خطاب میں فاؤنڈیشن کی کاوشوں کو سراہا اور آئندہ ہونے والی سرگرمیوں میں تعاون کی یقین دہانی کرائی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ بلوچستان کی خواتین کو بااختیار بنانے کے لیے ادارہ ہر ممکن تعاون فراہم کرے گا۔

سیشن کے دوران مختلف شعبوں سے تعلق رکھنے والی خواتین نے اپنے کاروباری خیالات اور تجربات بھی شرکاء کے ساتھ شیئر کیے، جس سے حاضرین کو عملی رہنمائی ملی اور انہیں نئے آئیڈیاز حاصل کرنے کا موقع بھی ملا۔

یہ سیشن بلوچستان کی خواتین کو ایک نیا حوصلہ اور اعتماد دینے میں اہم سنگِ میل ثابت ہوا۔
