Rawalpindi: The polling for the election of the Executive Committee of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) will be held on Wednesday, September 11. As per details, the 3-member Election Commission consists of Muhammad Tariq Mughal, Syed Rizwan Haider Mashhadi and Zahoor Ahmed Malik.
According to the details, the election will be held on 10 seats of the associate class and 10 seats of the corporate class of the executive committee. Scrutiny of the candidates has been completed.
15 candidates are in the fray for 10 corporate class seats while 41 candidates are in the fray for 10 associate class seats.
The last date for withdrawal of nomination papers and the final list of candidates will be displayed on September 7. Mian Parvez Aslam Group has been winning the Rawalpindi Chamber elections for the last several decades.
